Supporting the WordPress Community
I have volunteered as an “Organizer” for the WordCamp Calgary 2017 event. WordCamp is an annual conference with a focus of all things WordPress.
Part of my role is, of course, to update and maintain their visual branding.
Being that 2017 is the 5th Annual event for WordCamp Calgary, we felt it was appropriate and necessary to incorporate this in the logo update. I have created simple Brand Guidelines for everyone involved to utilize.
In addition I created badges for all the key figures involved to post proudly via social media and their websites.
Along with my web development partner, Christina Workman, Dream Team YYC is a proud sponsor for the event, helping to update and maintain WordCamp Calgary’s web presence.
This year’s conference will be dedicated not only to celebrating the growing WordPress community in Calgary, but also to connect new WordPress users with best practices and resources that make building websites fun, fair and profitable. Through a series of sessions, panels, hands on workshops and events we are aiming to help grow the WordPress community in the city. This year’s one-day conference is jam packed with great content for a wide spectrum of WordPress users – from bloggers and content creators all the way to hard core coders and marketing professionals. There is something for everyone at WordCamp Calgary 2017!
Come join us May 27th at Fort Calgary. Keep up to date with details via their Facebook page.
Tickets on sale as of March 1, 2017.
At the event, pick up some cool SWAG items, including these fun #WCYYC sticker sheets!
