Case Study: Catch Engineering Website

Problem

Catch Engineering is an innovative engineering firm that offers multi-disciplinary engineering solutions across Canada and the world.

You wouldn’t know that from looking at their old website, though. This is why they called the capable team of JWedholmDesign.ca (Jaime) and The Marketing Girl (TMG).

Strategy

Catch knew it was time to update its website to complement the cutting-edge brand it had built within the industry, and with Jaime’s creative design, Catch’s vision came to life.

From the start, Jaime and The Marketing Girl set out a comprehensive plan to take the website from idea to launch with clear milestones, contingency strategies and innovative ideas to make the website easy to navigate, clearly tell Catch’s story and convert browsers to clients. It was a collaborative process for TMG, Jaime and the Catch team that encouraged the open flow of ideas, revisions and approvals.

JWedholmDesign.ca brought new life to Catch’s digital footprint by entirely reimagining the site’s navigation, structure and overall design flow – even introducing novel components and new secondary brand colours within a mobile-friendly experience.

Results

Since going live, the new Catch website has been hit with staff, clients and all website visitors.

The feedback we’ve heard on the new site experience has been excellent. In addition to being much more mobile-friendly, it’s much cleaner and simpler while still being quite a bit more sophisticated than the old Catch website. There’s a lot to keep people engaged – it’s very warm, user-friendly, and welcoming.
