Case Study: Social Media Design
Problem
When Skyfire Energy came to me, their social feeds weren’t reflecting who they really are, and it was hurting them. Posts felt scattered, off-brand, or just plain forgettable. They were posting consistently but knew they needed a stronger visual presence.
Their marketing team needed reusable templates that would allow them to create branded posts on their own, without reinventing the wheel (or the brand) every time.
The goal: Get noticed. Get remembered. And look like the professional, trustworthy brand they have worked years to build.
Strategy
Good social design starts long before the first graphic gets built. Aligned with Skyfire’s well-established brand style guide, I designed a full visual design system, on-brand colours, consistent layouts and clear hierarchy so every post in the campaign felt like part of one story instead of a scattered collection of one-off graphics.
The strategy here was longevity. Instead of designing individual posts, I built reusable, on-brand templates these teams could drop new content into whenever they needed to post. The goal was to hand over a system, not just a design, so their branding would stay consistent long after our project wrapped.
Results
Skyfire Energy walked away with a reusable social template system built around their brand. Instead of starting from scratch for every post, their team now has a toolkit that keeps their content polished, consistent, and unmistakably theirs, post after post.
The real win isn’t a single metric, but the fact that Skyfire now shows up online looking like the brand they actually are: professional, cohesive, and easy to recognize at a glance. That’s the foundation good engagement gets built on.
Note: The content in each post, and how an audience responds to it, is largely out of a designer’s hands. What I can control is making sure every single post looks like it belongs to that brand and nobody else. That consistency is what builds recognition over time, even when any one post’s performance depends on factors well beyond design.
